The city of Gateway was once a hub of magic before it was outlawed. It may be time for an uprising!
The city of Gateway has long suffered under the rule of the evil Chancellor Gideon. Magic was once the pride of the people who lived here, but now it’s been all but outlawed. Making matters worse, the city is under attack from a strange new army of monsters, the Drueggar Hordes. Several insurgent groups have spawned, looking to overthrow the Chancellor. But now, they must also make sure that there’s a city left to rule.
In Gateway Uprising you are the head of one of several insurgent groups who want to overthrow Chancellor Gideon and restore the city of Gateway to its former glory. You start with a simple deck of cards that you use to recruit brave soldiers and powerful artifacts. The Chancellor isn’t the only problem in need of solving, though. The Drueggar Hordes are bashing their way into the city’s districts. You must work together to beat them back, as well as defeat Gideon’s forces. However, at the end, only one of you can take the Chancellor’s place in control of the city or what’s left of it, anyway.
